a special morning.

This morning the The kids and I (and grandma!) went to the Draper Temple Open house. I would have let Paul come too, but I guess school is a must!:)
Anyway, it was beautiful! The kids were so well behaved, which isn't unusual... Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to have such calm quiet little ones!
We were able to sit in the sealing room for a few minutes, which was my favorite part. It was such a good reminder to me of where it all began for my sweet family! I was flooded back with the memories and feelings of my wedding day...excitement, nervousness, yet somehow peaceful all at the same time. It's funny how on that day We didn't seem to care one bit that we didn't have a penny to our names or a nice house to call our own...all we cared about was that we were married and in LOVE!:) Here we are 8 years later still in love, but a different kind of love. We now feel the stress of work, money, our children's futures, which causes contention and frustration. I realized today as I was sitting there in that sacred room that all of that stuff doesn't matter all, the 3 little miracles sitting next to me (and the one in the oven) were far more important. I walked away from that room wanting to be better wife and mother. I sure adore my hubby and OUR SWEET BABIES!:)

Here are a few oldies, but goodies!:)

****SPRING UPDATE*****

There has been a misunderstanding about the SPRING SESSIONS!
My phone has been ringing all day about booking for my spring "MINI" sessions!
The reminder below wasn't for mini sessions yet, just a reminder that if you want your pictures taken this spring not to wait until the last minute to try to book it! I am sorry for the mix up and YES....I WILL DO A WEEKEND OF MINI SESSIONS!:) I haven't decided which weekend to pick yet, I am kinda waiting to see what the weather is going to be like! Last year we FROZE to death!!!!:)
Anyway, those of you have called me today and left messages about wanting the mini session, I wrote your names down so you WILL get a spot when I decide to do them! I was going to try to call everyone back, but I ran out of time! Thanks for being so excited about my photography, it makes me love what I do even more!

Is anyone else excited that spring is coming????? I sure am!
This is just a reminder that my spring sessions fill up fast, and I am not going to be doing a TON of them this year...I am not sure how many I will be able to handle with a babe in my belly!:) I started booking them today, so email me or call me ASAP to make sure you will get a spot!

Oh darn! I loaded the unwatermarked ones! PLEASE....NO PICTURE STEALING ALLOWED
It is really frusterating to see my work passed off as someone elses - let's be honest please! Thanks!

" I not good"

So last night I was talked into FINALLY purchasing a Wii. I know, I know, we are way behind the times, but I am NOT a video game person, so spending a ridiculous amount of hard earned $$$ on something I don't care much for was just hard for me! Zach has been begging for one for quite sometime because, "mom, I am the ONLY boy who doesn't know how to play video games!" I have been trying really hard this year for him to make some friends and do "boy" things and apparently this is something that they all enjoy doing. Alright, I will admit....I LOVE the tennis game!;) Anyway, they all woke up early this morning to play with their new toy! They let Emily try to bowl a few times, but she kept throwing the ball behind her and getting gutter balls! We were all laughing each time she attempted it. A few minutes later I found her sitting BEHIND the couch with her baby in one hand, her purse and sippy in the other pouting.

mommy: Emmie, what's wrong?

Em: No Answer.

Mommy: Are you feeling alright?

Em: A glare

mommy: why are you so sad?

Em: I not good at the wii.

She was so sad...oh what a hard life it is for a 2 year old with older siblings!
I could just squeeze her to pieces sometimes!

All grown up!

I have known miss tabitha since she was a youngster! Okay, she is still young, but I am talking 11 years old young! She wanted me to take her engagement photos for her! How could I possibly say no to this gorgeous one? She's a California girl and I think she has forgotten what snow is!:)

Happy Valentines Day!

we started our morning off with pink pancakes(my sisters idea!) and valentines hugs and kisses! Zach has had a very busy day so far! He went to a birthday party at jungle jim's playland and he is off in a minute to see the Monster trucks with with daddy! Yes, they chose Monster trucks over spending Valentines day with the girls in the family!;) OH well, who needs 'em anyway, right? We will head off to eat ice cream with out those stinky boys!

I took the kids out about an hour ago to see if I could FINALLY get a good picture of all three of them together (Christmas didn't work out) so why not give Valentines day a shot - right? Uh, NOPE! Apparently my children DESPISE the snow as much as their mama does! I STILL couldn't get Rachel and Zach to open their eyes...they insist that the snow is too bright! I couldn't get Emily to stop eating the snow, and let's just say that getting snow in your church shoes is catastrophic according to Rachel!
Hey, at least you can see these adorable outfits my mom made for the girls for Valentines Day! My sister isn't so fond of them, but they are right up my alley! I LOVE things that are different! Thanks NANA!

doesn't Zach looked thrilled?
