I guess I am a bit too old!

I was telling my friend April about my attempt at a cartwheel, and how I think i just about pulled EVERY muscle known to man while doing it. Well, today rachel wanted me to show her how to do a somersault.... you're NEVER too old for one of those, Right? WRONG!!!! I don't know what i did, but when I got up my neck had a really sharp pain and now I can feel the pain clear down into my chest! How sad is that?
I am still in my 20's I should be able to do ONE STINKIN' SOMERSAULT! That kind of depressed me today! I am going to start exersizing like the mommies in my playgroup do!:) Give me a few weeks and I will be able to do all the somersaults and cartwheels in the world! I am not motivated enough to count the "weight watcher points" though! You mommies can do that one on your own - i love to eat!:)
I have had the cutest little kids come to me for pictures this week! I'll share a few!

a little venting!

Well, I went out on a hunt for an Easter dress or skirt this past week, but came back empty handed! I knew this day would eventually come, but I have been in denial about it for the past few years! I am so sad that the long shorts and skirts are gone! I don't mean the LONG ankle skirts, but the ones that hit right above your knee cap! EVERYTHING was short, short SHORT!!!!!
Even if I could wear short things, I would look ridiculous - who wants to see my legs????? Definitley NOT ME!:) I swear you'd almost have to be a size 2 to ensure your butt cheeks weren't hanging out the bottom of the shorts when you bend over! Okay, enough complaining for one post!:)
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! The Easter bunny went skimpy on the candy at our house and left swimming suits and a few little toys instead! I think my kids have been on a perma sugar high for a week! NO MORE CANDY!!!!
Here are few pictures from this weekend! GOODNIGHT ALL!

An attempt at Easter

Well, I have had my Easter pictures planned since November. I had the perfect location picked out, Found a tea party set, table, chairs ect.....
Well, I didn't realize that Easter was so early this year, so there would be NO SIGN of color, it has been stormy and cold all week so I keep putting them off! So today I got the kids all dressed and even curled Rachel's hair! COME HECK OR HIGH WATER I WAS GOING TO GET THEM DONE THIS MORNING!!!!! I know I did indoor ones a few weeks ago, but I REALLY wanted outdoor! So Anyway, just as we are walking to our "spot", Emily sees a playground in the distance and WIGS out - she wants to "PAY MAMA" (play)!!!!!
I might as well have KISSED the pictures Goodbye, because she was HISTARICAL and there was no calming her down! She threw herself in the dirt and threw a full on tantrum! I was so mad! I grabbed her by the arm - then realized that that was not a smart idea, since earlier in the week her elbow came out of the socket - YUCK! I just let her lay there a scream while I took a couple of the other two kiddos! I decided maybe she would let me take a few at the playground! She was much happier with idea! Hmmm....who do you think she gets this stubborn streak from?????
On a happier note, Don't you LOVE their pants???? I loved their dresses, but I knew they needed a touch of "AUBREY" to them. I called my mom and told her what I wanted and TADA.....She sent me these ADORABLE pantaloon things! LOVE THEM! Thanks mom!
WHEW! That was a long post! I need a snack!:)

What a trooper!

This little guy was so great! Just as we started his session it started snowing! It was so cold, but he stuck it out for a few minutes! I am in love with his hat! I have to go on a hunt for one to add to my collection! Boy accessories are hard to come by!

A princess filled day!

Well, I am sooooo regretting my laziness from yesterday! April and I took the girls (and Zach) to see the Princess' arriving in SLC! They came in on horse drawn carriages
and walked down the red carpet to meet and greet many EXCITED little girls! Natalie and Rachel held hands and walked down the red carpet to get a closer look! They were so excited! I left my camera in the car and didn't realize it until we were at the train station. I was too lazy to hike back to get it! Luckily April had hers and so kindly took a few pictures of my happy little Rachel! Thanks girl! Well, She was happy until the Channel 2 news guy knelt down in front of her to tape her......FREAK OUT!!!!!
She started bawling and screamed "I have to go potty!!!!" That is her way of getting out of uncomfortable situations! So, If you happened to watch the news and heard someone bawling for the potty.....That would be my child!:)
When I went to bed last night I heard a whisper.....
rach: "mom, are you awake?"

me " yes, why aren't you?"

rach: " I can't stop thinking about those pretty princess!"

I think she really had a neat day! What three year old girl wouldn't love to meet the princesses? I know Ariann, you get to do it every weekend, but for some of us, we take what we can get!:)

Grandma is taking her to the actual Princess on Ice show this weekend! She can hardly wait! Check out april blog for a couple of pictures!

Here ya go jess!

These were from today! I LOVE the yawn - it cracks me up! I just wanted to thank everyone for your kindness with your comments!:) I have had so many fun emails from other photographers and moms these past few weeks! I never would have dreamed that people from Australia, Florida, New York, and even New Zealand would ever be contacting
me ...how fun is that! I have become instant friends with each and every one of them and in some cases, even talked with them on the phone! THANKS AGAIN!:)

Are you sick of me yet?

I know, i blog too much, but at least I can admit I have no life!:)
I dressed the girls up this morning and took their pictures! I am planning on doing outdoor Easter pictures if the weather ever gets warm! I don't mean to play favorites with the girls, but Zach runs when the camera comes out! I did these while he was at school, so I didn't have to hear any whining! The girls were fighting over who got to sit on the chair first! OH, I have trained them well! The baby in the buggy was from a recent session.

What if all the rain drops....

were lemon drops and gumdrops?

I very rarely get to spend one on one time with Zach. I have been trying to do this more often because he LOVES it! We did a little window shopping, took a visit to the candy shoppe, and he even let me try out my new umbrella for a minute - "but only for a minute mom!":)
Oh how I adore my Zach! He is our little peacemaker, our smartypants, and most of all the best big brother the girls could ever ask for! His imagination is always running wild and I love that he has such a creative mind! I am so grateful for his mellowness, his tender little (BIG) heart, he is his daddy's little helper and a NONSTOP talker! I love how he insists on bringing his scriptures to primary even when we are running late, I love how he knows EVERY primary song and sings so proudly (even as a sunbeam he did that!) How blessed I am to be a mommy to such a special little boy! My heart aches to think of him growing up! Did I mention he is already a ladies man? Little Annie (in his Kindergarten class) will gladly tell how much she LOVES ZACH!:) That's okay Annie, i adore him too!

You give the girl a cookie....

and she's as happy as a clam!:)
Did all you blogging mommies know that you can have your blogs turned into a book?
I am so excited about this!!! this way it really is like a journal. I know of a few
people who have done this and they turn out FABULOUS! Go to www.blurb.com
I can't wait to get mine done! Paul made me a similar book for Christmas with
photographs of the kids in the book, it turned out so neat!
