A little sad

Yesterday was a fun, but sad day for me. We took the kids up to my Grandparents cabin for the last time. They have decided to sell it and had multiple offers the first day it was listed! This sweet little cabin is a true cabin. It is nestled among many "new cabins" that are literally mansions in the woods. My Grandpa built this cabin when my mom was a little girl and I have had so many fun memories there myself.... playing in the stream with cousins, swinging on the COOLEST tire swing ever, digging in the sandbox, feeding the baby birds straight out of my hand, Grandma's nature walks to show us all the pretty flowers, fishing with grandpa at the lake, drinking fresh cold cabin water from a pink tin cup... mmmmm I still crave that at times!
I even had a sleepover there with my friends once! For some reason my favorite part of the cabin has always been the screen door - Strange, I know, but it is such a cute door. It was taken off of my Great Grandma's house years ago. The only reason I even mention that is because Grandma told me yesterday that the lady buying it wanted it just because of the door! I thought that was funny! there are some pictures below of Rachel and the door!
anyway, enough rambling! I hope that zach is old enough to remember at least a little something about this special place! We sure love you Grandma and Grandpa!

oops! I clicked on this one twice!

Couldn't resist!

I had just taken them out of the tub and I went to get a diaper,
when I got back they were both playing the piano - I had to HURRY
to get to my camera before the little monkeys took off! I love spur of the
moment captures!

Sweet baby"A"

twirling is so fun!

Every mommy wants the scale picture! I am so glad I found it!

Here are few of two cuties that I took lastnight - Sadly, we will have to do a reshoot in the next few days - We only had a couple minutes of good natural light before a big dark thundercloud came over us! The room was too dark! anyway, here are some before out light was gone! They were such cute girls - big sister was full of personality and LOVED the tutu!

just made me smile

So yesterday I was a bit under the weather ( I got Rachel's flu bug) and feeling sort of BLAH!
I really wanted to Watch Pres. faust's funeral in peace and quiet, so I sent the kids down to the basement to play. Well, Rachel soon got board of that and joined me on my lap to watch the funeral. I told her that she HAD to be quiet so I could hear - during the first song she looks up at me and whispered " mommy, that lady is singing weird!" I guess she has never heard "Vebrato"
before! (I have no idea how to spell that!) She said it so seriously - I had to chuckle!
A few minutes later daddy called and rachel insisted on talking to him. Daddy asked what she was doing -her reply was " just watching the President Hinkley's helper show with mommy" Once again I had to laugh! She doesn't like saying "Apostles" she calls them "Helpers" Even though it was a sad thing to watch, and I cried the whole time (I loved him!) I still had to smile at my girl!
