Adults are soooo easy to photograph! They follow all directions, they don't cry AND no fruit snack breaks! Don't get me wrong, i LOVE to capture the innocence of little ones, but sometimes it's lovely to have an easy session! These two are going to be married VERY soon!:)

Oh! I almost forgot...Tomorrow is the BIG day.....BOY or a GIRL????? Emily keeps saying, "baby blake is diggin around in there!" She came up with that all on her own! She has dressed her favorite doll into boy clothes and calls it her baby boy!
we'll see! Zach would LOVE some boy vibes sent this way!

I am sooooo not a newborn photographer! I truly believe that you either ARE one or you aren't - I am not! I love giving it a try, but I just can't seem to make it work as smoothly as i always envision! You'd think they would be as easy as pie - all they do is eat sleep and poop, but man, I have a rough time! I have always wanted to take attend a workshop that teaches ONLY newborn photography - I would LOVE that! Here are of couple of my friend Val's new babe! She was so sweet, tiny and AWAKE the entire time!
I guess I will have plenty of time to practice my newborn shoots when my new little bean comes! :)

I'm coming back!

Well, I haven't been in the mood for picture taking these past few months! This has happened to me before, but NEVER for this long, so I was beginning to panic that I would never enjoy it again! I have always been taught that once you make money for your hobbies, it no longer becomes your passion... I really would hate for that to happen. I have been debating with myself for sometime now if I am really doing the right thing. Should I be leaving my little ones, should I be working on editing all hours of the night while my hubs sits and watches movies alone, do I REALLY LOVE this? Yes, I really do love what I do, and don't think I can give it up! Selfish? yes, but I have set some boundaries for myself! I am ONLY going to book 2 sessions a week - NO MORE THREE A DAYS!!!! Hooray! I am not going to be offering as many pictures to choose from in the gallery... 20-30 should be plenty! I really am excited about this decision because it will give me the chance to continue to learn and grow in photography, but not stress out and neglect my sweet little (BIG) family. I look at the dollies, play jewelry, army guys and books strung throughout my house and I am reminded that I have my entire life to be "BUSY", but they won't always be at the age where they want mommy to play with them. So look out army guys and barbies, here I come!:)

I feel like I really need to apologize to those that I hurt in the post below. I should have handled things differently, and I know that now. I am truley sorry to those of you who were hurt by finding out about the baby through the blog and not from me first. I just thought it would be a fun surprise to read.... I was wrong.
As far as the drama in in the comments below, I am not angry at all, i feel horrible that I made someone feel so bad. I have MANY, MANY friends and family that are having problems expanding their families, and I feel sick that someone is so upset with me. I didn't mean to brag about getting pregnant so easily. I can't even begin to imagine how painful and hard it must be to want a baby so badly, but for some reason,beyond anyones control, you can't. All I can do now is apologize for hurt feelings and hope that I am forgiven, because i HATE it when people are upset with me.
I can't sleep, I feel sick to my stomach, and I felt that way for 2 days now. I have to move on! Thank you to all those who love and support my precious family, I really do feel loved!:)
