There is no way to decide who wins, so i am going to video tape one of my kids drawing a name out of a hat...it's the only way i can stand to do it! random ramblings....

Well as you can see, I have turned the "private" option off! I am stunned to know how many faithful blog stalkers I have out there in "blogland" (that should really be turned into a real word!) :) Anyway, i just don't have the heart to turn anyone away...unless you are mean! ;) Why is there a limit to how many you can invite anyway? S.T.U.P.I.D!  So just to make things clear with those out there that nit pick this blog to pieces...THIS IS MY PERSONAL BLOG....I know that my pictures aren't always perfect, but that is my life - not perfect. Sometimes I don't care about what setting my camera is on, or if the lighting is perfect - i just need to capture the moment before it passes! So with that being said, I have decided to be confidant with myself and my work and have fun again! I wish I could thank everyone of you personally who has sent me such sweet comments and emails of encouragement and stories about how my photography has inspired you in some way or another! I had a few pictures sent to me of how and where their photographs are displayed in their homes...and I was blown away by how beautiful  your homes are! It got me motivated to work on my own house this week, so THANK YOU EVERYONE!  With that being said...I want to have fun again and what could be more fun then a free spring session???? Yes, I have the itch to get out and do what I love (but I need it to warm up a bit more!) INntead of entering yourself, I want you to enter someone who you think may need a little boost of cheer!  You may leave a comment about them or email me about them...which ever! ON YOUR MARK, GET SET......

NEW BLOG!!!!

YES, this blog is going private (i am still plunking away at the email invites!) Thank you all for such amazing heartfelt words of encouragment. It has meant so much to me and I have decided not give up on my photography! I am taking a little break and maybe when this GOSH AWEFUL inversion clears up and the trees turn to their beautiful pink and white loveliness...I will have the itch to get out and create art - which is what I LOVE! Until then, I have decided to work on a few projects and post them here! I only have one post up...but I have MANY projects I am working on!

struggling....

First off, I want to thank all of my clients, friends and family for ALWAYS being sooo supportive of my photography! I have been struggling with the decision whether or not to start booking sessions again. I have enjoyed this past month with ZERO stress - I have been a much happier wife and mama! I am torn because I LOVE photography, but to be honest I am really tired of other photographers constantly critiquing my work (and NOT in a very nice way!) As easy as it is so just pretend the comments don't hurt - they do. I find myself going days without checking my emails for fear another photographer has left me another message. I do understand that photography is HUGE right now...everyone does it, but that doesn't mean that it is alright to go around judging other people's work or prices! I am not out to make a fortune as is often thrown out at me! I do it because I love it, but right now my heart just isn't in it. This does break my heart, in fact I am wiping away my tears as I type this, but maybe with time, my hurt feelings will mend and I will WANT to pick up my camera again....until then, I am just going to be photographing "my sweet babies" :)
