HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I am "slurping" up my blog (if you've ever made a book, you know what that word is!) to go into my 2008 book. I decided to take a look at the past year and choose a few of my favorite pictures/memories from the year! I was REALLY hard to just pick a few, so here we go....
I am in love with his blonde eyelashes... please stay that way.....please.

Our fluffy little Gingersnap, I can't get over how itsy bitsy she was!

AWWW.... This picture makes me CRAVE summer!

Well, I guess another year has come and gone. I feel so blessed to have such a special family with special memories. At times it doesn't even seem real to me that I am a grown up with children....when did I grow up???? Here's to another year, new adventures, new learning experiences, and most of all a..... A NEW BABY!
Yup, baby #4 will be joining our cute family in June! Zach spilled the beans today, and started crying as soon as he realized what he had done, poor little guy! I have always wanted 4 kids, and have been talking myself out of it all year. I even made Paul take down the crib that has slept all three littles.... I was heart broken. Something wasn't right, I felt like I wasn't complete - WE weren't complete. I was too emberrassed to say anything to Paul, so i played along, until one day he came clean and mentioned that maybe we should have ONE more. No complaints here! I am excited to have 4 little busy bees, 4 cereal bowls to wash every morning, four slobbery kisses, and four bedtime stories ( they each pick one book!)
We are a little scared, but DEFINITLY complete.
Happy New Year!

finally.... Christmas pictures!

Daddy is so proud....his little boys first bb gun! Yikes!!!!! Emily kept saying all morning, " you'll shoot your eye out!"

I am not quite sure how Santa managed to find this doll for Rachel... it was NOT an easy task, I am sure of it! She has had her heart set on it for quite sometime!
Of course he couldn't bring a doll for sissy without one for sweet emmie!

I have been meaning to get these up all week, but I have been too lazy! Anyway, here is a little peek into our Christmas Morning!
Poor little Rachel woke up with pink eye last year, and this year she had the stomach flu! Next year I am keeping her in a little bubble for all of December to make sure she is well on Christmas morning. Poor little thing.

This little bundle of sweetness was one of the BEST newborns EVER! Even though he was over a month old, he still slept and acted so newborny (is that word?):)
His mommy and daddy just adopted him and they couldn't be a cuter family!

The girls put on a performance for me this morning! They got themselves dressed (notice Emily's dress in on backwards and wrinkly!) This was Rachel's favorite part of her recital... only because she was allowed to belt out the song!
I am so stupid and forgot that my new camera also has a "video" option on it! I could have recorded her real dance...dang it! Anyway.... hope this makes you smile!

Hmmm.... it is so blurry when I load on blogger, I have no idea why that is!
remember to scroll down to the music and click PAUSE on the regular background music (did you get that mom?):)

Rachel's first recital!

CHECK OUT THOSE TIGHTS... I THINK SHE NEEDS TO GAIN A FEW POUNDS!

Rachel had her first dance performance last night! She was so stinkin cute! I was so proud of her! She is has always been my EXTREMELY shy and clingy child, so I was worried that she was going to freak out when I had to leave her with hundreds of other dancers backstage! She did GREAT - not a single melt down! She was so tired after the the first show, but she managed to stay awake for the 2nd show too!
We have it on our camcorder, but is in an antique( a whole 5 years old!) so I can't put it on my blog! Seriously, you HAVE to see it... what could be cuter than 11 tiny little dancers each making up their own moves at the same time?:)
After Grandma and Grandpa treated us to the "after show dinner", I put her down for bed. She asked me to sleep under her covers with her for awhile, (which she has never done before). She had such a special day with just the 2 of us, that she didn't want it to end! I spent pretty much the entire day with her by herself... she even got wear mommy's makeup! Anyway, she was out like a light within minutes with her little arm wrapped around mine....
I just love my little ballerina!

My MESSY HOUSE!

This picture is out of order for some reason!

What do you get when you leave a 4 and 2 year old alone with paint while you take a much needed shower? Yup - a BIG MESS, a newly painted kitchen table and 2 masterpieces to hang on the fridge! I wouldn't change this mess for the world!

As for the rest of my house.... A TOTAL DISASTER!!!! Paul's sister says she gets twitches when her house starts getting messy... um, I am going to have a seizure any minute! As you can tell, my studio didn't work out! I couldn't seem to get "legal" with the city and no other choice but to move out! bummer!

Well, I hope you are enjoying this special time of year. I know we are! We have been to Temple Square twice already to see the baby Jesus in the manger! That is their favorite part! Every time the light would shine on baby Jesus, Emily would say, "Ohhh, he is sooo cute!"
My Grandma gave us a star to place on a pillow everyday after doing something kind for someone else. The kids are constantly fighting over whose turn it is to "be nice"
They crack me up! Zach was stranded on the toilet without toilet paper and Rachel came to his rescue, apparently that was "STAR" worthy behavior! :)

Anyway, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas! I'd better go clean!:)
