I HATE When you make me eat!

I was getting ready for a shoot yesterday when distraught little Rachel stepped in front of the camera and said, " I hate when you make me eat sandwiches!" I had to snap a picture or two since i had camera in hand! I sure wish I felt that way when food is given to me!;)
I have been doing some "etsy" browsing lately and have come across some cute little treasures! How come there are so many great seamstresses out there! I get jealous every time I look at these shops...if only I could sew like my mom! Every time I attempt it, I have to hunt Paul down to thread my machine for me! Now that is pathetic! I will make a list of them and put them on my blog - check back soon!:)

TAKE TWO!

Well, we had to reshoot this session because for some reason my memory card went wacko and I wasn't able to get the pictures off the card - WEIRD!!! I LOVE my job because I meet so many fun people! Zach has a new best friend - they had so much fun playing this afternoon! Zach didn't want him to leave! They are both in Kindergarten and are both tenderhearted! Even better - they live close by! HORRAY! Rachel goes to dance with his sister and they are so stinkin cute together! They also have a little girl emily's age...How much more perfect can it get? :)

I know this is a downer post, but I thought it was a good reminder to cherish each and every day we have with our little ones, and to give them lots and lots of kisses, because life can be taken away so fast. Someone sent me a link to this memorial site for sweet little AVA. When I read it I couldn't help crying - this little girl sounds so much like Rachel... it literally gave me goosebumps! My cute hair!

I asked Zach to take a picture of my cute new hair (thanks kim!!!) and it turned into a mini photoshoot with Zach and Rachel as the photographers! We tried REALLY hard to get one with paul and me....we couldn't stop laughing long enough to get one where we both looked normal and not high on drugs! we will have to try again another time!:) Paul said "that's why we don't take pictures of daddy! My side hurts from laughing so hard!
Anyway, I have been meaning to tell you all that you MUST try my new favorite low fat treat - SKINNY COWS!!!! I heard about them on Oprah and I had to try them! Even Paul gives his approval! I hear that Costco has a coupon for them - go try!:) In case you don't know what they are, they are ice cream sandwiches and they are a normal sized too - EVEN BETTER!

St. George Girls!

Okay Girls... I hear you.... I am coming!!!! Mark your calenders for April 11th & 12th!
I have decided to do something REALLY FUN!!!! I have had some requests to bring my Vintage buggy, and I am trying to figure out a way to do that - I promise i will try!
The theme for these 2 days is going to be a "vintage" theme.....just think....cute pantaloons, ruffle pants, bonnets for babies, yummy little aprons, real cupcakes, tea parties, balloons, dollies, vintage suitcases and suspender & hats (for those cute little boys of course!) I am still trying to find the PERFECT location for this, I have a few places in mind, but I will have to let you know for sure!

I will send you an email about the clothes you will need to bring - I will supply the majority of them! I can't wait to see you! OH, I almost forgot! Each print that you order I will also put on a disc with a resolution of a 5x7 so you can make copies.

Three little boys!

I have heard once before that "There is a special place in Heaven for mommy's with boys!" I had so much fun photographing these sweet little boys! Their daddy has been called to go Afghanistan in couple of weeks! I tend to forget that these men and women are "real" people with "real" little families - yet they are so willing to fight to protect OUR families....THANK YOU!!!! Zach said I could only take ONE picture of him today and that's all he sat for! He said he wanted to pull an alien face! He loves to take the pictures now! The one of Emily holding her baby and the up close one of emily was taken by Zach ( I think that explains the confused look!)

1. I sneak little bites of ice cream out of the carton! that way it doesn't really seem like I had a bowl of ice cream! (instead it's more like a carton!)

1. I'll bet you didn't know about the bank thing! I was first accused of stealing it, but then they said they believed me, but I got fired anyway! I got so upset that I broke out in hives that night!
2. I loved to play war and ninja turtles when I was little! I even made a shell out of cardboard!
3. I failed my drivers test the first time - how humiliating is that??? She told me to take the next "available" right, so I did. Come to find out the word
"available" was the key word! I turned onto a one way street! I was nervous!

My new FAVORITE toy!!!!

LOOKIE, LOOKIE at my new toy! I have to thank my new friend Cindi for selling it to me today for a FABULOUS price! (and to my mommy who spotted me the $$$ until payday!) I saw this buggy yesterday and I just knew it was meant for me! I have been on a hunt for quite sometime now for this exact kind! I LOVE! I had to take Rachel out to play with me - it got too dark, but I thought these ones were too cute! Hmmm...where on earth am I going to store this thing? I need a storage unit for all of my "crap" as Paul so kindly puts it!:)

This last one is a picture of rachel's outfit that nana made her for Christmas - she would wear those pants EVERY stinkin day if I would let her! She calls them her "nanna loves you pants." This is the only picture I could get from her today! She was FREEZING and was very worried about her polka dotted shoes getting dirty! I tried to talk her into wearing her boots - NO GO!:)

I am having technical difficulties!

I am getting so annoyed!!!! Our internet is only working for 2 min. at a time! I am sorry for those of you waiting to see your gallery - we are trying to solve this problem (it has been going on for 3 days now) ASAP!

I also wanted to tell you all thanks so much for all the phone calls to check in on our sweet little emily! She is doing so much better...a little grumpy, but at least she's awake and alert, right???? I sure have the best friends and family ever - thanks again!

I was up for the challenge!

These 4 little peas were the cutest things ever! I know...I say that a lot, but I have to admit I was bit afraid of the challenge of photographing 4 kids at once! They were the best behaved children I have ever had in my home! Not one time did we have crying or whining! LOVED IT!:) I promised mommy a peek, but only a peek - I want there to be some excitement with her gallery!
I wanted to thank everyone for your comments on "NILMDTS" - I think I will wait and see what happens with Paul's job that he tested for before I commit to doing it! You guys are right... I take on too much sometimes!
I also wanted to thank everyone for checking up on us this past week. Some of you know that emily got really sick and has pnuemonia (ignore my spelling!)
She gave us a good scare, but is doing so much better today! I know many prayers were going on in her behalf and I truly believe that is why she is recovering so quickly!
She popped right up this morning and poked me in the eye and said, "HI!" - I think she's back - THANK GOODNESS!!!!
