cute cute family!

This family was one of the funniest families ever! We pretty
muched laughed the entire time! The mama of the family wanted pictures done before her little boy leaves on his mission in a few weeks! handsome boy, beautiful girls, 2 lucky parents!

I am sorry about the clothes that I said I was going to post. It was confusing enough with the few photo props that sold, so I am trying to figure out a better and easier method for the clothes!
If you still haven't picked up your item that you bought, PLEASE do so by Monday!

some fun recent sessions!

short notice....

I know it is short notice, but I had a cancellation for Wednesday. I have one spot open for a mini photo shoot if anyone wants it! (I usually only do them in the fall!) email me if you want it!:)

oh, I almost forgot! I am cleaning out my photo props and some of my home decor...I will put them up tomorrow if anyone wants to buy anything! I am sad to see them go, but I have to make room for new ones!
(my coveted red chair just might be one of them!) :)

This little one of mine is OBSESSED with these glasses. She wears them everywhere, we have been through 2 pair of  already! Good thing they were only a buck!:)  I had to talk her into letting me pop the lens' out so her eyes wouldn't get ruined - she reluctantly agreed.  Two months later and now she has a little white line across her tiny nose from where they sit. It is adorable. (oh, and she is sporting her first HOLE in her mouth!)  A few minutes after falling out, she started crying because she wanted it back in! She is always hesitant to grow up. I am with ya girl....stay 5 forever!

I guess it looks like she has 2 holes in her mouth - poor thing has my gap between her 2 front teeth!:)

let's talk about her.

You see, I adore this little girl to pieces....yet she is driving me to drink at the same time. She will be 4 on monday (no, i can't get over it!) and she is regressing....A LOT.
She has started peeing her pants a few times a day.
She constantly whines and cries when mommy says "no" to ANYTHING.
She has picked up this thumb sucking habit that drives me nuts.
She refuses to go to bed in her own bed.
She wants to be held ALL THE TIME!

She has never really been this way. I am wondering if anyone has had their 4 year olds regress (i would expect it from a 2 year old) and if so...what do you do?  The threats are not working, only makes things more dramatic.
Why didn't she come with an owners manual?

I do have to admit she is a crack up when it comes to picture taking. She comes up with her own poses and tells me I HAVE to take her picture doing "this."  Have I mentioned I adore her???

4th of July

i love her.

I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Holiday weekend! I feel like I have been going, going, going NONSTOP since Friday! The 4th of July is my favorite holiday...yummy bbq's, movies, parades and family time! You should see my DISASTER of house right now - I am not even sure where to start!!!
Anyone know of a good cleaning lady??? I could really use one to keep me sane these days! oh, and she MUST work for FREE!:)

Happy birthday sweet boy!

I can't believe a year has come and gone so quickly! It feels like just weeks ago that I was sitting in the hospital window seat, holding you in my arms, watching the trains go by from our room.   I remember thinking how perfect you looked. The only imperfection I could find was on the tip of your left ear...it was curled over on top of itself. Every nurse that held you seemed to mention it - i couldn't understand why they kept reassuring me that it would fix itself in a few days. It didn't bother me at all, in fact, I thought it was quite charming myself.  Well, they were right, it did straighten out and you began to grow and grow everyday! You were my only chunky baby and it took all I had not squeeze your little chubs to pieces!
 Here you are today...a happy, not so chubby, little ONE year old!
You make everyone smile with your 2 HUGE dimples, your silly scrunched up cheeser smile that do for everyone who sits behind us in church, I adore the manly way that you dance to Taylor Swift songs...let's just say i love EVERYTHING about you! Happy Birthday little sambo...now quit growing up, alright?

On a funny side note..

I went to tuck in Rachel and emily last night, Rachel started to cry. I asked her what was wrong, she said,"I don't want sam to grow up!" Then emily broke into tears too! Paul came in to see what all the crying was about. When I told him, he said " girls are strange" and walked off! I think I have 2 emotional little girls on my hands!
