some little spooks!

Rachel finally had her first Halloween party at dance on Tuesday -
goodness, I thought Tuesday would NEVER come! All I have heard
about for 2 weeks is "Mommy, I am going to have a party at dance -
is tomorrow Tuesday yet?" she had so much fun and loved having a
party that only she was invited to! I snuck in to snap a few pictures -
I couldn't resist! the teacher ended up inviting us all to stay and watch!
I was laughing the ENTIRE time - she is so funny to watch! Dancing is
serious business...if you don't believe me - ask Rachel!:)
I almost forgot! The winner of the card contest is.... Leslie!
Leslie - when you come to pick up your pictures you can pick one out!
Thanks for playing everyone - I love reading your comments - it
makes my day! oh! you don't always have leave nice comments -
if you see something you think needs changing or have any ingenious ideas...
let me know - I am a big girl - I can take it!:)

I love this time of year! When else can you can photograph
little caterpillars , ladybugs and ducks - or is it a chicken?!
Anyway, what fun! Happy Halloween!

my new bowl!

my mom was so generous to give me one of her favorite
bowls! I think it was from an antique store - I love it! I finally got
the chance to try it out on 2 babies yesterday! They were so much
fun! They were so patient with me... my kids were all home and into
everything! Emily was obsessed with their binki's- no matter where
the mommies hid them - emily somehow found them! Little stinker!

First haircut!

Well, I finally did it! rachel is three and just now getting her first haircut!
I haven't wanted to do it for fear that her baby curls would disappear
forever! She felt so grown up and couldn't wait to tell her dance teacher that
her hair fell out while she was sleeping! WHATEVER that means! Anyway, I
was so excited to see that the curls are even curlier than ever! I don't know
what it is about this girl that just melts my heart! She told me in the car on
the way to dance class that she never wants a new mommy, cause I take her
to "Mc Muffin Day" after dance ! Gosh I am glad to be appreciated for
something! Thanks Grandma for the beautiful haircut!

Holy Crap!!!

Holy crap I have totally overbooked myself and now I don't even know where to begin editing them! I have taken over 1,000 pictures since Monday and i have more this week! My house is
a total disaster! I was just thinking this morning that if I had an emergency and I had to call for help, they would take my kiddos away cause my house is such a mess! There aren't enough hours in a day to get everything done! *note to self... next year either book a lot less or hire a temporary nanny and a maid! Gosh, that sound great! Maybe I will have to charge more to compensate for the nanny, but gosh - it would totally be worth it, Right?! Here a few from this week so far! Oh! I have to thank my dear Paul for watching the kids by himself this week - I came home on Tuesday after a full day of photo shoots and I thought he was going to have a nervous breakdown! I guess it's good for the daddy's to have a little taste of mommyhood every so often!:)

my little piggy...

This is my little piggy! Yesterday was Zach's first Kindergarten program!
It was on Nursery Rhymes & each child was assigned to resite their rhyme in
in front of everyone! He was a little nervous, but he did such a good job! He
took a deep breath and started and then said,"OH wait, I forgot my nose!"
Everyone laughed which made him even more nervous, but he finished it and
quickly sat down. He was so cute and insisted that he needed to wear his church
shirt to look good for the program! He has such a sweet little spirit - everyone
tells me that, but I already know! I pray that he will always stay that way! I
love you little buddy!

Where are mom's keys today?

Emily and her "GAPA" - Good thing grandpa was
there, he brought the food! He dutch ovened ribs &
Potatoes YUUUUMMMYYY!!!! Thanks Grandpa!

So... who likes to play games? ME!!!! Well, I usually like them, except for when the game is "Who knows where mommies keys are?" I asked the kids that this morning and sweet baby emily raised her little hand and said"AHHHH" !!!! So, do you think that means " I Do" - who knows, but my keys are still missing! I wish she could talk!!!:)
Once again we made the morning trek to dance class on foot! I didn't have time to walk Zach to school and make it to dance class so we played pick a number between 1-10 and the closest gets to go to their class! Rachel won! I wasn't even thinking and picked 3 as my magic #. I should have known she would pick it - that's her age!:) It worked out alright, cause zach has a pretty bad cold and probably shouldn't have gone anyway!
What's a blog entry without a picture to share! These were taken at our ward camp out a couple of weeks ago - Can I just say that was the LONGEST, COLDEST night of my life!!!!????
