STUPID BEE!

Poor little Zach had his first bee sting yesterday! He was playing upstairs and started screaming! After a few minutes he sort of calmed down and said,"mom, take a picture of it!" I had to laugh at that! Then I had to go find the bee so I could prove to him that it was safe to go back upstairs! I found the dead bee and told him that right after a bee stings it dies. He then said, "That bee probably said OH CRAP I shouldn't have stung Zach!" The more I laughed the harder he cried! The bee sting is much better today,but now I have a bee aphobic in the house!

Treasure the moments

Having found my love of photography, people ask me all of the time if I dress my kids up and go out looking for places to photograph them. Well, I could lie and say NEVER, but I have found that everyday outings as a family with messy faces and dirty clothes from a hard day at playing, have turned out to be my favorite photographs ever! They aren't always "Technically" correct, or the "perfect" lighting, but they tell a true story of my beautiful family! These were taken at a little park in Draper.... messy hair and all!!!

Look at my new Trick!

Look at my new trick mommy!!!! I was outside watching her play in the water (hence the saggy diaper) when she saw her dolly from a distance... all of the sudden she just stood up and took 2 steps!!! She has never even stood on her own before! i yelled for daddy to come and see - she could tell by our reaction that she must have done something GREAT so she kept doing it!!!!

my first wedding!

This was my first wedding! My friend April let me tag along and help her take pictures! Thanks April! This cute family now has a total of 6 kids!!! OH, and did I mention all under the age of 7?! Here are a few that I have worked on so far - most of them are in black& white because i still need to edit the color ones!

A summer treat!

After a hard day of playing, there is nothing better than daddy's
chest to take a little snooze on!

All about Emmie!

Poor little Emily wants nothing more than to be able to play with
her brother and sister! She crawls behind them as fast as her little
legs will take her trying to keep up with them on their bikes!

Grandma & Grandpa came to visit this week! It was the first time

Grandpa had seen Emily (I'll post those pics later) but while they were

here, they gave my old stairs a face lift! They were so ugly before - now

they are beautiful! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Emily was anxious to

give them a try!!!

Mommy never passes by a great photo opportunity! How is she to resist
a yard full of red poppies and three beautiful kids? All three kids were
mezmorized by the fountain! I couldn't get them to look at me! I love the
curiosity of young children!
