Rachel has loved this girl since they were both 3 years old. They have danced together every week for the past 5 years....i can't believe they are getting old enough to be baptized already! Rachel came along on this shoot and now she is just DYING to get out shopping for a white dress of her very own!

easter morning
This blog has been seriously lacking in posts! Quite frankly i have no excuse other than plain old laziness! Hopefully i will get my blogging mo-jo back soon, cause i know i will regret it if i don't!
I love easter morning! Something about it just seems so perfect and beautiful....this morning was no exception. What a GEORGEOUS day - blue, warm, sunny skies....an easter egg hunt in the yard, adorable sunday outfits, a lazy afternoon pushing kids on the swings, a walk to grandma's house....I am so blessed to have such a special family.

white trash...
Sometimes we bolton's do things a little "white trash" - you see, i have been on the hunt for a vintage trailer. well, i found one. :) Yes, it is a bit white trash... but oh, the fun adventures we will have this summer! I already have plans spinning in my head about how i am going to decorate this little gem. I LOOOOVE the turquoise appliances! I am thinking black and white checkered vinyl flooring, slip covering the cushions, and adding whimsical throw pillows! believe me, it will be AWESOME!
Sam is as pleased as punch with it....can you tell? I couldn't find him in the house, and i yelled out, "SAM, WHERE ARE YOU???" He yelled back, "I'M IN THE NEW HOUSE!" I went to see what he was doing, and he was just sitting at the table with a HUGE grin! Now i am on a hunt to find a place to store it. It really isn't the most BEEEAUTIFUL thing to have in our driveway....but hey, we still have our Christmas light up (till tomorrow) so i think we can officially call ourselves white trash!

LOVE DAY
i know it might seem strange...but Valentines day is my favorite holiday! ALL things pink and girly, yummy treats and parties! What could be better, right? I was in charge of Emily's Kindergarten party this year, and it was so fun to see her so excited about it! "cupid" must have stopped by our house while we were at school, cause the kids were greeted with a table of goodies and a little present for each kid when they got home!
Daddy came home with flowers and big box of ice cream sandwiches for dessert! GOOD THING I AM WORKING OUT TODAY - i think i ate my weight in junk yesterday! oh, and paul even watched Hope Floats with me! Haven't watched that one since our newlywed days! thank you netflix.
Yup, sometimes life is just great! Emily gave me a hug at before bed and said, "this was the BEST day ever!!!" i agree.

all about teeth
It's all about teeth at the bolton home lately! A few days after Emily lost her first tooth...out came the second! Then the next day, little bean got his first tooth...and now the second one. i took these pics the day before they popped up - and i am so glad i did, cause nothing beats a big gummy baby grin!
oh, and he is a BITER if you know what i mean. He bites me, i jerk away, he screams, i scream. that is how our feedings go.
these pictures make me laugh. I was playing with him on the floor, but he is in that "hoover" stage. ya know the one where they think they are a vacuum and they can find ANY little thing on the floor and stick in right into their mouths? yes, that stage. He had ZERO interest in playing with me, because there were too many pieces of "who knows what" on the ground to hoover up!
