So, where were you at 8:30 this morning???

I know, I am not the most AMAZING mother ever....obviously.....I lost my child this morning and found her in her jammies on her way to show grandpa that she could pedal her bike by herself! Luckily she was only in the driveway, she really does know her way to grandma's house....she probably would have ended up there!

a little ball of love!

what a good baby this little girl was the other day...i still can't get over it!:)

"Swim Soup" Day!

According to Emily yesterday was "Swim Soup Day":)
This girl is a crack up! All she wanted to do was drink the water from the slip & slide! The other 2 got in on the action for a minute or so and then got too cold...not Emily!

Another year has come and gone...

Dear Zach,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are now a BIG 7 year old...I just can't get over it! I look back on your pictures from last year and you have grown up soooo much! You have gone from having ALL of your baby teeth in place, to being toothless, and now your mouth is filling up with the grownup ones! You have also gone from not knowing how to read, to reading and spelling EVERYTHING in sight! You ROCK at math (which you definitely DID NOT get from your mom!) How is all of this possible in ONE quick year??? It blows my mind! One thing that hasn't changed is your tender little heart. You are always so concerned about others and their feelings, always watching out for your little sisters and their well being. I LOVE that you look forward to church each week and that you can rattle off most of the articles of faith without ANY help! You crack me up that your favorite song on daddy's ipod is "BAD BOYS" and that you know every word to it! It is so NOT you, but you LOVE it! You are the only boy I know that reminds their mom that his homework needs to be done! I am honored that you aren't embarrassed when I surprise you with a lunch visit on special days - you scoot right over and let me in! How can I possibly adore another little boy as much as I adore you? I know that you are going to teach your baby brother MANY great things, I am so excited that you are going to have a brother.
I know that you will be years apart, but as you both grow up I know you will become best friends - I just know it. Well, here's to a great day and another great year full of even more milestones! I love you baby!:) (daddy loves you too!)

xoxo,
mommy
PS. Did I mention that you play a MEAN soccer game???? Well, you do!:)

an evening out

We spent a little while at this AMAZING rope park in Daybreak tonight. We were all a bit windblown, but it was totally worth it! Emily LOVED the water and the swings, Rachel and Zach loved the ropes....mommy LOVED this house!:)
Would anyone like to buy it for me for Mother's day???? just thought i'd ask.

ps. Does the wind ALWAYS scream out there? just wondering.

they make me smile! This morning the girls were playing "performance" and I was asked to be the "camera person"....how could I say no to a couple of performances as cute as these? enjoy!:) (the one of Rachel might make you motion sick because emily was hanging on me while I was recording!)

A special place....

I have special place in my heart for the Bountiful Temple (that's where my precious family began 8 years ago) so I was excited when I found out that i was going to be photographing a wedding there! This family was seriously the NICEST family on earth!
The brides friends were so stinkin young and GORGEOUS - I felt FAT And OLD standing next to them ( at least I was able to blame it on being 8 months pregnant, right?):)
Anyway, Here are a few of my favs from the day! What a fun way to spend such a Beautiful morning.... While I was waiting outside for them to come out, the sun was shining, the flowers smelled yummy, it was quiet and peaceful. The temple truly is a little bit of heaven on earth.
