So, after reading everybody's mothers' day tributes last month, I thought I'd do it for Father's Day! Sorry mom - I will do yours, I promise!:) This post is about
MY DAD..... ( I have been hunting for a picture on this computer, but I couldn't find one! I am soooo bummed!
1. I love that he becomes friends with EVERYONE that he meets!
2. If you ever get a chance to have him as your Sunday School teacher, you won't leave hungry! He brings popcorn to class!
3. He and mom would come to all of my tennis matches and cheer at the wrong times!
(Tennis etiquette... Never cheer when your opponent messes up!) Who knew?!!!! :)
4. I fell in LOVE with a blue and white tennis racket one summer. I worked my butt off to earn the money for it, one day i came home and he had gotten it for me! I was the happiest girl ever!
5. I would always jump at the chance to go to the store with him. I always knew I would get a candy bar and a .25 drink. RULE #1 - You had to finish it all before we got home so mom wouldn't find out!
6. When I was in High School we would run home during Sunday School and grab a bite to eat, then run back as if we had never left!:)
7. We used to spend Hours at the Carson city pool swimming laps together. We both had AWESOME upper body strength that summer!
8.He has always taught me to be independent, and to do whatever I put my mind to - and I do!
9. He is the only person I know that will spend an entire day on a deep sea fishing boat puking his guts out, and STILL have the desire to go out and try it again! CRAZY!
10. He used to sneak me on roller coasters when I was too short! I was the only one who would go on them with him! I would stand on his feet to make me look taller!
11. I LOVE that he came by himself when Zach was born to take care of me. He even brought Zach a goofy looking stuffed animal that we still have! He took good care of us that first week! How sweet is that?
12. I know he is a wonderful grandpa, i just wish my kiddos could have a chance to know him better!
I LOVE YOU!

the "freakin' ugly chair"

I found this FABULOUS chair at the DI the other day! I know, it looks ugly, but I saw it's potential! I scrubbed it up and gave it a fresh coat of black paint and VOILA.... My new photo prop! I couldn't fit it in the van with all the kids, so I had the guy put a "sold" tag on it until I could come back. He wrote on my receipt, "has already paid for UGLY GREEN CHAIR" - WHAT???? He didn't think my chair was pretty? I am soooo offended!:) I showed the receipt to Paul and when he saw the chair he said, " I would have written "FREAKIN' UGLY GREEN CHAIR!!!" Oh Well, I think it is GREAT no matter you all may think!

The FIRST BORN....

I love photographing the first born baby of a family. There is a certain "look" the mommy and daddy have towards their new bundle of joy. I love how they hold and kiss and talk to them as if the baby understands every word that is being said. I know every baby is loved, but there is just something extra special about first time parents. Baby Lilly was also able to have her picture taken with her grandma while she was in town! baby Lilly was not a happy camper, and we had NO LIGHT, so we are going to try again on Tuesday!:)

Sunday afternoons!

I LOVE Sunday afternoons in the summer! We hang out with Grandma and Grandpa, play with our crazy cousins, eat treats, ride 4 wheelers, play in the mud.....
Today i thought I'd take my camera out and have some fun! Here are some pictures of our cousins that we LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! :) We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first baby girl anyday! Rachel is convinced that she is going to teach her how to dance! She's going to be pretty disappointed when she realizes babies don't dance! oh well, she will adored by all, I am sure of it!
